As Commercialization Manager of the Tennessee Biomass Supply Cooperative, Buck provides co-op leadership and focuses on opportunities to expand production and commercialize the industry.  

Prior to joining Genera Energy, Buck served as Deputy Commissioner for the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and State Executive Director for the USDA Farm Service Agency in Nashville. Buck has also held various engineering and management positions with the Tennessee Valley Authority in Knoxville.
 

Buck has won numerous awards in agriculture engineering including the Distinguished Alumnus of the Year (Inaugural Award) from The University of Tennessee Department of  Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science. He earned his BS in agricultural engineering and MS in environmental engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received also received an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
